Awareness 2025: Unselfing
Multidisciplinary Exhibition / Gathering
Deadline: 8 Sep. 2025
Notifications by: 14 Sep. 2025
“Unselfing” is the quiet act of stepping beyond ego—the dissolving of the ‘I’ into presence, perception, or something larger than self.
In a world saturated by distraction and disconnection, Awareness: Unselfing invites us to turn inward — to remember what is ever-present but often unseen: our awareness.
This fifth chapter of the Awareness series explores the unfolding of consciousness as a spiritual journey. The exhibition seeks to showcase works that serve as a portal — a mirror — drawing the viewer back into contact with the core existence of our being. Not the constructed self of story and identity, but the quiet, spacious awareness that underlies all experience.
What remains when thought falls silent?
This exhibition is not a linear descent, but a spiral—a return. A dissolving. An unselfing. It maps the inner planes where lucid awareness reveals itself not as something we have, but as what we are.

- States of awareness, presence, or inner clarity
- The dissolution or loosening of the ego/self
- The liminal space between self and other
